MMEA February All-State Dates:
Rehearsals: Friday, February 16, 2024
Concert Day: Saturday, February 17, 2024
Note: February All-State students involved in State Tournaments may miss a portion of rehearsals. Students must report the conflict to MMEA. Section, sub-section, and regional games or competitions are not state-level activities.

Student Accommodations:
- Hilton Hotel – Limited student-rate rooms are available for All-Staters. They sell out fast. First come, first serve!
- As of 11/15, the price for Hilton hotel rooms is $127. All rooms purchased prior to 11/15 will honor the previous price. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Reserve room online now!
- Under Minneapolis law, an adult must be present at check-in and must stay in the room with students.
Rehearsal Attendance Policy:
- You must attend all rehearsals. Region and section contests are not excused absences.
- Talk with coaches, jobs, and teachers soon! CLEAR THAT SCHEDULE!
- If your school ensemble is performing at the MMEA Midwinter Convention on Friday, you are excused from your All-State rehearsal for your ensemble’s warm-up and performance time.
- Rehearsals for all ensembles will be from 12:15pm to 7:30pm on Friday, February 16th. Dinner will be provided to the students with considerations for all dietary restrictions.
Eligibility for All-State:
- You must be enrolled in your school’s corresponding ensemble through February. If you are no longer enrolled, contact MMEA at info@mmea.org.

100% of admission proceeds go towards the MMEA Scholarship Fund! In 2023, MMEA awarded a total of $31,659.50 in scholarship funds and 57 scholarships to students for the 2023 All-State Camps and 2024 All-State February Event. Thank you for supporting our student singers and musicians!
