MMEA is restructuring our Elementary Programming offerings, and we want YOUR help!
In the past, one of MMEA’s core student programming offerings for Elementary Programming was the Elementary Festival. After being on hiatus for the past few years, Elementary Festivals returned in the fall of 2023, partnered with MacPhail-Austin in Austin MN. We ended up with extremely low registration numbers for the event, so we pivoted and brought our party to the school with the highest registration: Fairmont Elementary, with educator Emily Labes! Emily’s students were able to enjoy a fantastic event with presenter Soojin Lee and had a meaningful musical adventure.
While we were able to provide a great experience for a number of students at Fairmont, this process still brought to light a need to restructure our current Elementary Programming. This is where we are turning to YOU, our Elementary Music Educators! We’ve created a google form that asks you for feedback on our Elementary Programming and processes, so we can refine our programming to best serve you and your students. We ask that you take a few minutes to fill out the survey below – we value your input!
